i really want to buy the new store town though so idk how much i can justify spending that much money on the sims

Also a firefighter, a stylist, a home redecorator, and a GHOST HUNTER. And these are all professions, a new type of career. If you have Generations, they're very much like the daycare profession, with their own tasks. It allows you to go at your own pace. If your sim doesn't want to do a damn thing that day, they won't have to. There is a weekly allowance but it's in the hundreds. Also there's a new career, Education, and Medicine gets a few updates to make it more interactive.

The three new skills are inventing, which allows you to invent really cool shit (LIKE A ROBOT), sculpting which allows you to create a lot of different sculptures from pretty much anything, and tattooing, one of those hidden skills.

The new town is a swamp like town, very much like New Orleans and it looks really cool. If you play a Legacy at all, this is my favorite town to do it in. Everything is close together yet you still travel to get to it. It's a really well designed town.

ALSO A MOTORCYCLE. how can you go wrong with a motorcycle.

I think it's much cheaper now. So it's worth the pick up.

this does sound tempting! i'm a sucker for new careers and towns. i'll probably look into it next week. do you know if there are any glitches or bugs that it causes?

None that I'm aware of, but there's bound to be some. I know Home Decorator/Architech is a fairly hard profession but maybe i just suck.

i almost deleted one of my save files because i thought it was corrupted before realizing NOPE IT'S JUST CHINA

traveling causes me 95% of the problems i have in-game but i love it anyway :(

same. traveling in general does cause some minor glitches for me, but only when they come back home.
