Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 5,000. I liked her, but did she actually... do that much?

I imagine all the mods do lots of behind-the-scenes organizational things. Updating lists, reading apps, planning the event calendar and all that. So I'm sure she did lots of stuff, but another well-organized person would be equally capable of doing that stuff. I don't think the whole game will fall apart just because one mod leaves and is replaced by a different mod, so long as the new mod is equally good.

I hope they are :D

Do you think the other three will pick someone or open it up to applications from the game as a whole?

Well, last time we needed a new mod, there weren't in-game applications. I think they just picked someone.

She did a majority of the behind-the-scenes work and played mediator more than people realize. There will never be another mod like her but hopefully a half decent one can take her place. If not the game is doomed to die within six months.

Sauce, naysayer?

A lack of deets is a sign of a good mod. Mods are the sort of people that it's BAD if you notice what they're doing, because that means they're fucking something up.

She did a lot more of the behind the scenes work than you think she does. Plus, she also played mediator a lot when That Mod did something stupid.
