Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 5,000. "One of our biggest load problems is entries that have a high number of comments -- loading those entries causes a big hit -- and we've been seeing an increase in the number of entries with lots of comments lately. If even a few high-traffic journals or communities started opening new posts when comments reached 2000 or 2500 instead of letting the post run until it hit the maximum number of comments, it would definitely help." - DW_News

Cape and Cowl, Asgard Eventide, Paradisa, Polychromatic, Soul Campaign (though it is a war setting), The Post Humans (I don't think)

SC has a few horror/madness elements, but it's more war than paranormal

TPH has some dark elements, but it's not horror.

Gargleblasted is pretty much as far removed from horror as humanly possible.

Luceti isn't horror, though it does sometimes have darker elements that are avoidable.

Yeah, most games are slice are of life type deals these days. In addition to the ones already mentioned, there's CFUD, Dramadramaduck, Counted Stars, Entanglement, Kannagara, Magicdraft, Holloway's Keep, Queen of Hearts, Ruby City, The Velvet Key, Per Caligo Video, Trans 9, Thoughtformed, Witches Reign, Route 29, Entranceway, Adstringendum, Somarium, Vatheon and... yeah, like I said, the vast majority aren't horror. I actually wish there were more horror games around to choose from.
