Not sure - I mean, there always seems to be interest here and on memes. I think it's more like a "Here's a place!" and pointing it out to people. The mods of Ultimania didn't advertise at all, it was more like a HERE YOU GO and people randomly found it.

I think there could be interest - then again I think there's another FF/KH DR around somewhere. I forget the name off the top of my head. I dunno, I just like having a FF DR-ish place to just play around and do cross FF cr and etc. :(

There's a KH DR open to FF characters indeed. 'kingdomdressing' if I remember correctly, but I've barely ever seen any FF muses posting there. It's possible, peoples just don't seem to have any interests in it

Similarly, if we open a FF DR and allow KH characters, I don't think we'll see that many. Maybe one once in a while.

Good point! Which is sad, because I enjoy KH/FF CR too. Especially with the FF characters already in KH - the confusion can be fun to play out sometimes!

Anyway, I know the FF DRs on lj pretty much died, but I keep seeing so many ff characters around I think having a specific one for FF would be a good idea! Surely there would be interest, it seems like there is. :)

Thinking to it, I now want Squall to meet Leon. Anyway, there is interest indeed, and the fandom is very active! I'm pretty sure with decent advertising, a FF DR could do pretty well. New titles/remakes/ports come out pretty often too, so keeping things fresh and activity steady shouldn't be a problem.

I guess it depends of us, to make it happen.

Haha Squall and Leon have met in the game I have Aerith in, and it's pretty funny to watch them interact. There are some characters who haven't really changed too much between games, but it would still be that moment of "omg my twin". heh. Same with duplicates of a character! I'd love to poke Aeriths with this account just to see what shenanigans they get into.

...ahem tangent, sorry.

ANYWAY yes it's up to us! But then again like someone just said up there, I don't know if anyone has PM'd the mod about the comm yet. It's possible they got caught up in RL and stuff.

True enough, I'd feel bad besides if we started something and the mods were just having troubles IRL. I don't think anyone did, so I may try to PM them tomorrow if you didn't do it already.
