Temporary Change
: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 2,000 - 2,500 comments. "One of our biggest load problems is entries that have a high number of comments -- loading those entries causes a big hit -- and we've been seeing an increase in the number of entries with lots of comments lately. If even a few high-traffic journals or communities started opening new posts when comments reached 2000 or 2500 instead of letting the post run until it hit the maximum number of comments, it would definitely help." - DW_News

Not the OP but maybe they mean the fact that its another mystery plot that caters to people that play the spies/investigator types and everyone else only gets to have their characters be kidnapped or 'interact with NPCs'.

interacting with NPCs is a huge part of what gets characters involved, though. if you don't try to interact with any aspects of the plot how do you expect to be involved?

It's a super hero game, these plots are to be expected. What sort of plots would you RATHER CnC have? And I'm asking that in all seriousness, not trying to be an asshole.

I can understand people having difficulties being involved in a game, as my second game I'm in the same situation since the overall theme of the game doesn't lend itself to plots my characters can really be involved in. But the plots my characters COULD be involved in don't really suit a game's mod driven plot, they're player plots. I hate to say such generic advice, but if the game's plots aren't suiting your tastes then you should start your own plots or get with others to start a plot if you aren't confident in your abilities to run one.

That doesn't make sense again. Plenty of characters that aren't those types have gotten involved with past plots and could with this one.
