can willow quit trying to integrate into the homestuck cast? it's really annoying

I don't think there's a problem with the integration, since a lot of lone canon warriors end up doing that naturally, just that she seems to be... Forcing it?

Is there anything you think I should be doing about it? :|a Cause I've been worried I've been doing that myself, hahaha.

But I will say that 1. Honestly we have a huge HS cast, it's hard to avoid a lot of CR with them if you're active, 2. I know several of the players from previous games so I wanted to tag them off the bat, 3. And then once Willow got CR with some of them she sort of... wanted it with everyone else. She's the kind of person that wants to know her friends' friends' friends.

I don't want it to be annoying, though. I mean... it is a little forced because she wants to force it, ICly, as she doesn't have any castmates right now. But if anyone would prefer not to tag me, that's fine! You don't even need to tell me your reason, lol, RP should be fun and not uncomfortable, so if you aren't interested in CR with me for whatever reason, just let me know. I won't mind.

orz sorry for the tl;dr. She is meant to be a little overbearing ICly, but I don't want to be OOCly, so concrit and/or input would be appreciated.

it just seems like you're trying too hard oocly to have her involved in everything. it's one thing to have cr with a cast, but it's another thing entirely to trying being PART of that cast. on the subject of wanting cr with all of them, it seems like you're more interested in tagging the males in the cast, as i can list off the top of my head at least 3 of the female trolls you haven't bothered tagging. so on top of trying to make willow an "addition" to the cast, it also looks kind of biased imo.

Whoa, does it really seem that way? I'm actually not usually sexually attracted to men to start with, so that was the last thing on my mind, lol. (I'm assuming that's where you were going with that comment, since I can't imagine how else it could be an issue...?) In reality I haven't been tagging some of them because I've been trying not to come on too strong. If anyone wants CR with me, all they have to do is ask. But I don't want to leap on every single Homestuck post; that'd be obnoxious and shallow. It just happened that the characters were male, and that the players I already knew played male characters.

I guess I'm a little confused here, because on the one hand you seem to think I'm too involved, but on the other hand you think I'm not involved enough? I don't want her involved in everything, but she is pretty nosy and outgoing as a character, so I sort of can't afford to ignore the things her CR gets into. It'd be wildly OOC for her.

I don't understand RPing anymore. What are people with small canons supposed to do? Is there a percentage list of characters of a canon we are allowed to tag? Maybe a range?

anyone else think it's pretty gross that Zero and Teal turned a plurk celebrating a new RDV castmate into a circlejerk with... Pretentious lyrics or quotes or whatever the fuck that was?

not that that's new or anything

i'm more concerned about portraying any bias towards rdv over violetesence because of how hard teal and zero white knight the latter whenever the discussion happens to come up to an interested party.

it makes me really uncomfortable.
