Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 2,000 - 2,500 comments. "One of our biggest load problems is entries that have a high number of comments -- loading those entries causes a big hit -- and we've been seeing an increase in the number of entries with lots of comments lately. No, there wasn't anything sarcastic or jokey about it. I don't even care too much about their gloating, but it was just really sketchy to me how a mod was in the plurk, not saying anything about it, and generally giving an attitude of bias.
