Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.

Temporary Change
: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 2,000 - 2,500 comments. "One of our biggest load problems is entries that have a high number of comments -- loading those entries causes a big hit -- and we've been seeing an increase in the number of entries with lots of comments lately. If even a few high-traffic journals or communities started opening new posts when comments reached 2000 or 2500 instead of letting the post run until it hit the maximum number of comments, it would definitely help." - DW_News

I wish like 3/4's of this game were around more often.

If the activity level of that much of the game bothers you, maybe you should look for one with a faster average pace?

... but that doesn't answer who your favorite characters or muns are :\

Do they still have ridiculous application demands, like asking people to show off the bright and bubbly side of a character's personality in the sample that has to be done in the game's setting?

(Anonymous) 2012-02-05 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
They don't require you to use the game's setting for samples anon. And it's not unreasonable to ask for a demonstration of the character's personality in a sample, especially when you can link other samples anyway.

Oh no! A game requiring samples that pertain to your character's personality!

Come on, anon.

Sob that was meant for the previous anon

No one ever said it had to be done in the game's setting...

And huh. Showcasing a character's personality in the sample? I never would have thought this would be required in an application on how to handle a character's personality. What a revelation.

It'd be nice to see people tagging in on everyone's comments! I try to tag into a lot, but I know it's hard when no one's replying to your posts.

There seems to be a fair amount of tagging around. Just scrolling down the first page of the main comm, most posts have upwards of 30 comments if they aren't directed to only one or two people, and the exceptions are either fairly new, were very obviously posted in the middle of the event deluge, or have few comments because the initial poster hasn't tagged back more than maybe once.
