Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.


Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. Please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. For time, I was thinking of one of two things. I could either a, use the same timescale as the games (a month is a season in this world, crops grow fast because they are blessed or something), or b, scale it proportionally (crops grow four times as slow as in the games, seasons are as in IRL - crops will still grow pretty quick, but again, we can handwave it as the Harvest Goddess' doing). Of the two, I think the second is the more practical for RP.

For money, I was actually thinking of allowing NPCs into the area, particularly as it grows more prosperous, and doing a monthly market (like the one in Grand Bazaar). Initially, though, it will just be sort of self-sustaining using the supplies left in the villages.

I feel like something in the middle of the two would work best for time? 1=1 days are definitely too quick but near-realtime feels like it would drag.
