I'm not saying they're excluding people in the slightest - I know the AU Charles does their best to tag around just as much as the OU Erik, and they're one of my favorite AUs out there. I just find their relationship uncomfortable and slightly OOC given how strong the character is outside of that. The mun however does not have an HMD with anon on/IP off so I can't exactly bring this up to them directly, and Abax's HMD doesn't allow for socks either.

I have issues with the movieverse Rogue outside of shipping, but that's something I'd like to take up with her as well but can't for the same reasons listed above: their HMD has IP logging on and anon is off. For one thing, I find their canon point and their ambitions to nullify the Cure uncharacteristic and skews more into headcanon territory, especially without anything to back it up beyond X3's ending with Magneto, which barely constitutes as legitimate eradication of the cure in the first place.

The ship issue is just a minor thing but yeah you're right, it doesn't deter from their overall characterization.

Those are both fair points as well. They're also points I think really should be raised to the muns, though I understand if you aren't comfortable doing so while logged in.

The one thing I would say - and this is mainly directed at the original anon who asked about games with X-Casts! - is that this isn't true for all of the cast members there. People have different preferences regarding anon crit, and of course crit in general, but I would challenge the person who says the whole cast is bad at taking crit. A fair number of them welcome it, and do have anon-enabled HMDs in their journals. Two have already un-anoned to say so in this thread, just as an example.

I did that for a separate question and she pretty easy to talk with about that subject.

People seem uncomfortable with the ship, which is valid, but it's not supposed to be a comfortable ship/relationship/whatever you want to call it. It's supposed to be one big wtf mess and it's complex and convoluted and down right messy.

And if we ever bring it up around someone who doesn't like it or finds it uncomfortable anyone is welcome to let us know and we'll stop. As stated before, it's not a nice ship and very >_> times. But yes, just talk to us anons! If you don't feel comfortable asking AU Charles in their hmd you can always come to mine. It has anon and IP tracking off. We can both discuss things there with you.

Actually I lied, my HMD wasn't all of that, but I just went and fixed it. It is now IP logging off and anon comments and screened and all that jazz. Sorry for the mix up folks!
