part of me is thinking they're doing it to prevent people from apping MCU characters

but really there's less canon to read, the cast is growing, and as far as ultimate captain america goes they think it'll be funny to bounce them off 616 characters

i get there aren't many good MCU players if at all but the attitude a couple of these players had about the possibility of it happening rubbed me the wrong way idk.

I hope that first point's just a bad hunch, since that'll just be petty (especially if it was in response to the previous anon meme's comments from a prospective MCU player).

I honestly doubt it's in response to MCU characters because I don't think the potential Ultimates players have even mentioned movieverse in the same conversations. Based on the plurks, I'd said it's a result of enabling from the current Ultimates cast.

I guess you didn't see Anna's plurk.
