rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. Please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. We don't need several threads soliciting photo evidence of body parts, and we already know that we only care about yaoi. Failure to comply will only result in deletions and butthurt. game suggestions:
(Anonymous) 2012-05-29 09:46 am (UTC)(link)- a TRIBAL based game where characters wash ashore, gifted from a mysterious water goddess to an island full of perils. major focus on being 'cleansed' through trials (mostly survival-based) as events. characters live in either A: a primitive tribe with huts or B: a slightly modern coastal town ala greece/italy. could possibly have horror elements.
- a DIGITAL based game where players have avatars inside of a PC. the players are entrusted to live in a hyper futuristic city and deal with glitches or anomalies before they infect the system.
- a KINGDOM based game where players are entrusted to populate a dead kingdom after a plague wiped out all non-royal blood in the country. fictional based and slightly slice of life but could have IC political drama.
- a 1920s-1940s american NOIR setting which focuses on crime a fictional metropolis. loosely based off of L.A. noire, but can detour away from any mayfield/holly heights references by being purely urban-crime drama
um as far as themes/inspirations id really suggest?
- battle royale
- deadman wonderland : ESPECIALLY with it being a prison amusement park, holy hell
