rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Are any of you planning on making a game script for this? Because if not, I will after I finish the game :>

I'm pretty sure there isn't a full one for Devil Survivor 1, but 2 is a lot more linear (not a bad thing in any way!), so I think it'd be comparatively easy to do.

If you want, I could pitch in with AO's script in progress I've been working on. (I think I got all his Fate events and route dialogue, but I'm still missing a few battle lines and different choice dialogue here and there.)

...Hilariously, AO is the reason I started doing the script in the first place. I'd love to have what you've got already, and I'd definitely give credit! For the record, if anyone else has script to add, I'd more than love to use it! It'd save me a bunch of time :>

I'm thinking of making two versions of the script: one for GameFAQs and one on Dreamwidth.

The Dreamwidth version would have a table of contents containing links to each of the days/routes/character Fate events, which I'm considering putting in separate journal entries so the entire script isn't being loaded at once and it's easy to find what you want. I'm thinking each entry would have the table of contents at the top, and a link to the previous/next Day/Route/Character at the bottom so it's easy to navigate.

What I'm thinking of doing (it's not set in stone yet) is having the main game script covering Days 1-6 with all characters alive and, depending on just how much variation there is when certain characters are dead, put that optional dialogue in indents or as a link to another section. Routes would have their own separate entries and would be handled in a similar manner to the main days. Fate events would be grouped by character, with notes on which days they appear, so it's all in one place for RPers looking for a quick canon review. Other misc dialogue (like death quotes) go at the end.

It's a bit messier than what I intend, though; it's got some progress markers and I'll be moving Enlightenment and True Freedom to AO's Fate dialogue if I decide to go with the aforementioned format. I could give you all progress updates with new RPanon discussion posts, if you want!
