rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

It being a "crack" RP doesn't make how it did it any less valid, and I am fairly sure it changed it from vivid dream to just a thing that happened over the years. Either way, that's still more than what we get - a bunch of posts that mostly go without many comments and even more posts with lame ideas.

Actually, looking back at the FAQ for Route's, it does say;
the event may still be remembered in bizarre, sometimes-vivid details, in the form of very wild and incoherent dreams.

So if someone really wanted to recall something, they could it seems. Just nothing totally solid.

Still, I do hear you. It was a lot of fun the first time for me, the second time it was okay. But the third was just a bust and this time has really felt kind of meh. As I've said around in this already, they need to drop this whole every six months thing and not do it again for a full year. It's stale now, so we need that full on year to let it be something people can actually be more excited for, not just "Oh, 4th wall again? Eh." about it.

Popping in here to say that I've used the 'remember as a vivid dream' rule pretty much every time and I've gotten some really interesting character development out of it.

Obviously that can't be the case for everybody and the events ARE getting a little stale, but it is possible to have lasting effects from the 4th wall events, especially now that the characters have figured out that there's more to it than just 'oh I had a weird dream'.
