rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i want to tag all the things! :( but everyone seems to have their own plots going on and l-lol anon doesn't want to be the weird noob butting into things. is it normal to feel this way?

Bah, don't feel that way anon! Look at your first page on the friends list and just go wild. It's pandfandom for a reason, and unless they say 'reserved for ___', they would love to have threads; most of them don't have a whole lot of tags yet and I'm sure would feel very happy to have you hit them up!

I was the same way at first, anon! and i actually still feel that way every once in a while BUT

Really, unless a post is locked to specific people, tag it! Tag all the things you want, anon! Come on, anon, let's play together! Really, everyone I've met in this game is very nice so don't feel too shy about tagging others. :)

Like others said, tag all the things. Most players keep their closed stuff to logs and appointment posts so the vast majority of posts that go up are truly open.

So as long as it's IC and you can handle another thread, tag away! There's nothing wrong at all about actively seeking out some CR.

Did you ICly intro? (in your own journal or someone elses)

Yes = Tag all the things. People love getting tags, why wouldn't they want them? It's the very point of RP! Don't be shy, you're not butting into anything. You could start up some great future CR by just being completely confused! If you want something easy to tag, you could tag the mass naked log with shock/horror/amusement? Or there are a few posts in the main log that look easy enough to jump into without knowing the character beforehand. If you want to take part then go ahead! There are some untagged posts hanging around in the log that look a little lonely!

No = Well... that's a bit more awkward because this is probably one of the worst events to try and intro in due to everyone being messed around, de-aged, body swapped etc. Players are going to be focusing on the event and are much less likely to want to tag another intro post when they could be having fun with the chaos.

If you haven't intro'd, then maybe embrace the event as a really weird way to intro, because it can create a pretty weird and funny impression. Having been in the game when we had monthly app cycles, I intro'd a character during an event and it ended up making for making things nice and wacky for them.

After the event is over, you can just do a regular post with your bewildered New Feather going, "... is it always like this here?"

I actually intro'd a character during the last recall event and the thread fell completely flat, everyone dropped the tags quickly to get back into the event. I was speaking from experience with total recall events.

Sometimes it can all depend on the player as well. But it may be better to go and tag in to other people's posts, especially with posts getting very few tags in favor of the mass log so it's more likely a new character tagging them may get a nice thread.
