besides, there is a difference between "a passage in my holy book states that homosexuality is wrong" and "I agree with the passage in my holy book that states that homosexuality is wrong" and the impression I've gotten is that Maka-mun is the latter (can correct me if I'm wrong tho). ultimately, however nicely you want to couch it in terms of judgement versus personal beliefs, if you believe homosexuality is wrong you're still homophobic. just like if your holy book claims that people of some skin tone are inferior and wrong, and you believe your book but claim to not "judge" people of that skin tone, you're still a racist.
