As one of the players in question, I can say that in my case at least you are absolutely right. When I was typing my tag, I originally started it with a paragraph explaining how you might have expected her to rescue Mami, but because of *reasons* she was going to take advantage of her instead. But then I deleted that paragraph because I felt like the *reasons* were boring tl;dr shit nobody cared about.

So uh. Lesson learned: it is better to bore people than to assume they won't immediately jump to the worst available conclusion.

I don't think it matters. Magneto has been doing these posts better and people are more likely to listen to him anyway. Assuming the mun makes one for this event, but she probably will.

At least his revolve around rallying together as opposed to rallying around himself.

So, potential apper question. I've never really played in a true slice of life game without any supernatural elements before, but I've heard great things about this game and it looks solid (a.k.a not about to die soon). So, I was wondering if it allowed OCs, and...well, how easy do you guys find it to post, or to come up with situations that others can reply to? Basically, how easy is it to come up with thread ideas?

unless you were planning on apping EDI or someone with super close CR to Joker, i'd still encourage you to consider apping anyway. the rest of the mass effect cast is pretty awesome, one bad link shouldn't scare you away!

I have a friend who's considering writing up an application for the mom from The Secret World of Arrietty, but she's waiting for it to come out on DVD first, hah hah. So there'll definitely be me, and there might be a borrower!

We've discussed this before. It's fine for her to be, but not for her mun to think she really is going to be the leader and people will fall down to follow her lead.

The fourthwall event could be interesting, if approved. I doubt the mods will be up for it, though (if evil clones made them pause because of "too many doubles" then fourthwalling will be out). Mafia plot will take a lot of organization, so idk either way about that. Brainwashing plot seems boring, but maybe I'm missing something! The way I see it, "peace loving hippies" will get really old really fast. But it could turn out great depending on what people do with it.

Things I'd like to see: something different! Anything but generic "dark X is on the station and corrupting everything" plots would be good at this point.

People are jumping on you for this in some sort of weird kneejerk. As far as I can tell, you're not saying everyone else is bad and that you don't want to play with them, but yeah. Some of the folks who are really good writers and fun to play with and fun to read are gone and that sucks.
