Put the bunny back in the box

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. Please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. We don't need several threads soliciting photo evidence of body parts, and we already know that we only care about yaoi. Failure to comply will only result in deletions and butthurt. "People may notice site slowdown/cache error pages. We're working on fixing. You can help: finish posts at 3k comments, not 5k or more." - Dreamwidth@Twitter

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Concerns?

Hey! This is the designated catch-all entry. This is not an invitation to spam to your heart's content. The same rules apply.

You are dealing with other people most likely even if not dealing with customers. Even in jobs I've had where you don't deal with customers face to face they still had a dress code. The point of it was to not offend your co-workers.

You say that like it doesn't happen every few pages.

2: "I lose respect for you" is "I judge you if" and no one cares, just insult them.

#hashtag abuse, #someone think of the hashtags, #friends don't let friends abuse hashtags, #op is a bad friend, #op should defriend them,

but

people are offended by others with odd hair colors? it seems like such a weird thing to single out. it's not like you're wearing a t-shirt that says "fuck your god in the ass" or something.

(Anonymous) 2012-05-16 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
because it's unprofessional and gives a bad impression, plain and simple.

Work from home. Not the best pay in the world, but I get paid far better than Walmart and if I wanted to be naked with green hair while working, no one would give a rat's ass.

And not sure about the dress code with it, but where I used to live oilfield work paid really well. Long hours and very hard labor, but pays damn good. Of course, got to live in an area that has oilfields and they move around a lot.

For manual labor like that, it's not hard to learn and often places are so desperate for someone that they'll train you as long as you look capable of doing heavy labor (look healthy and fit, have no health problems, stuff like that).

The things that do require actual training and certifications are things like running heavy machinery, working with electrical wires, welding, etc. That stuff also pays well if you have the training for it.

i don't know anything about steve?'s canon, but like...isn't the question mark a part of his name? i don't see why he'd put it there if it wasn't.

though... if it isn't, i'll admit i'm going to be loling

1. He's not overly religious, though he doesn't seem to disbelieve that there is a higher power. Basically he doesn't speak for or against the goddess, just seems to remain neutral. Definitely a smart thing if theories about who he works for are true.

2. Likely agnostic, and most people in his canon seem to be like that.

Very hard labor that, in the US at least and probably elsewhere, is for companies who just flat do not give a shit if you get maimed or killed on their job sites. Oilfield work is hell and if you die the companies will do their fucking damnedest to make sure your family doesn't see a penny.

Fuckers.

Apparently. That's what they said. In their subject line. You and the op are dumb.

the hell are you talking about? i looked at the link just now. it's not hard to gauge what's being talked about from the comment posted here, so i didn't bother to look.

and now that i have seen that, i'm wondering wtf op is even going on about having posted this here.

(Anonymous) 2012-05-16 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Anons, we have had this conversation before. The question mark is part of the canon name for that skin. The joke is dead.

What the hell are you talking about? It said it's part of the character's name in their subject line in a comment in a thread in the post linked. You said you wondered. God forbid someone expect you be able to read in this reading based hobby.

(Anonymous) 2012-05-16 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't talked about this one single time in my life.
