someone in my fandom peddled their sob story about being homeless (they actually were homeless, too), was met with an outpouring of donations to help them fix their situation, then turned around and spent all the donation money on, i shit you not, fandom bullshit like art and stuff

they have become an immensely hated person in my fandom because of this. they are the equivalent of our big name wankers.

I was actually working in Eternal Darkness elements! Given that it fits in easily for obvious reasons. Too cracky could be a problem but I think it could work. I do want to try to be flexible since horror is a pretty individual thing, so options like that would be good.

Usually it's because I didn't have as good of a grasp on the voice as I thought or as much interest in playing them as I thought or it turns out they aren't as good of a fit for the game as I thought. And nope, don't get the impulse to play them again because I remember I failed already with them and why.

And while I get people's hesitance at trying to establish CR with someone like me, it also kind of sucks because I do app each character intending to keep them around a long time if the voice sticks and they are a good fit and I can't see if they are without playing them in a game. But if the CR is lacking they will not seem like a good fit for the game and so it ends up making it more likely I'll drop the character.

I absentmindedly pick at zits/scabs on my face.

I mean, I'm lucky enough where I don't have bad acne, but when I do get acne the scabs tend to stay around a lot longer than if I didn't pick at them.
