What are icon comms that aren't fandom specific or personal comms on DW? Other than animeicons, I'm not sure where to put my icons here yet so people can find them.

I'm kind of a newb at coding, so I have a question.

Anyone have an idea how I can widen the navigation header? Not the actual header image itself just... the navigation bit above it. Because right now it looks ridiculous and I'm not sure how to fix it.

Pointers on how to change the code/colors for username and stuff in the layout would be nice too. Black on dark grey is just not a good color match, but offhand I can't find any coding for it in my layout at all.

Is this page width fix what you're looking for? You'll need to install Greasemonkey (or the Chrome equivalent), get this extension for it to recognize Dreamwidth, and Stylish itself (Chrome equivalent) before you can use the fix.

Isn't that just a general width fix for the actual Dream Width Layout not personal journal layouts? Because I'm already using the width-fix.

What I'm looking for is the bit of coding I need to tweak (if at all possible) to fix this:

If you're using a DW layout you can just go to the text for the page and remove network and memories.

Otherwise you can adjust the CSS so that the page margin for the top is a higher number. I'd suggest doing this if it's an imported from LJ layout too. It should be under the header part.
