I know omegaverse is flexible, but these suggestions are a complete reversal of a vast majority of the content out there. This would be more of a subversion than an actual omegaverse game. Which, if that's what you want to make or play in, that's fine! But it wouldn't be what I want to play in when I think of an omegaverse game.
I think something more interesting could be done with betas, too, but I'd rather not see them be a flexible/"any role" option. Part of the appeal of omegaverse is being stuck with the role you got and having to deal with that at a societal level, and if a decent chunk of the game was allowed to just change their role whenever they felt like it and play a temporary non-committal version of both alphas and omegas it would dilute the setting I think. I'd be fine with just not having betas or keeping them as NPCs, tbh.
