Friend apped the other half of my ship to my game, but it seems like they're only interested in playing with me, and barely. I feel like their tags often lack effort, but it wouldn't be a problem if they were actually active. But they're not. I link them to posts their character might be interested in, I try to get them engaged with events, but there's only so much I can do. The other character should be the outgoing type who drags my character into situations, if anything, so it's hard not to have that color the in-game relationship. I don't want to plot important things without them, but they're never in the mood.

I like this player as a person and a friend, but their behavior as a castmate and RP partner is bringing me down. I feel terrible, though, because they're always so stressed about RL that I can't possibly ask them to prioritize RP. I don't want to be a dick or make demands of someone's time, I'm just aching to RP a ship with a fun little in-game arc, and this ain't it.
