exactly, or i don't like some of the tropes that often go hand-in-hand with the tropes that i do like.

like, i love tomboyish girls, but it's so hard to find a tomboy in fiction who doesn't hate feminine things/isn't terrible at cooking or other feminine pursuits/isn't embarrassed to be seen wearing a dress/isn't terrible with kids/etc. give me more tomboys who also like/are good at feminine things and are proud of it!
