No one is pronouncing it DOA, but you also can't expect people not to discuss it. Pretending like something doesn't have issues and luring people in with false expectations is worse because you end up with a lot more disappointment instead of people who might consider joining if things got reworked a little. Saying, "you mean well so don't talk about it" feels disingenuous.

It's hard to be stubbornly enthusiastic for a game that hasn't given us anything to be enthusiastic about because the game I want to RP in is making me choose between doing busy work or handwaving my cr.
