The classic dark fantasy stuff of the 1960s would be Dark Shadows. It was a soap opera that lasted for about five years. It had vampires, witches, zombies, werewolves, basically every dark fantasy monster you could think of.

However, if you end up sampling it and liking it, Big Finish (An audio drama company famous largely for Doctor Who, but who've also produced content for Highlander, Judge Dredd, Dan Dare, Sherlock Holmes, Robin Hood, Star Trek, and more) has released a ton of Dark Shadows content featuring the original cast. Do not judge it based on the Tim Burton movie.

That said, it's a soap opera from the 60s. There's some questionable stuff regarding Roma in there.

From the mid-70s, if that's not too far, consider Kolchak: The Night Stalker, about a reporter who ends up dealing with supernatural mysteries on a regular basis.
