i'd say there are three types of character attributes: the items that are extremely divisive (the 1% for which someone should warn in their top level), the items that you'd typically mention in your starters (more general brushstrokes, here is a burly man with eight tentacles and a gelid blue gaze, looming over the room) and then there are the extremely detailed ones, which you can either get a nudge for or skim.
i can put down in an info post that 'my character usually dresses in modern urban clothes with occasional political slogans' and it still wouldn't cover the specifics of what they're wearing that day ( the OCCUPY WALL STREET t-shirt that might set off banker Blorbo). for that, you'd still depend on the starter.
i do appreciate your perspective, and i can see info posts are of value to you. i still think it ultimately comes down to, we wouldn't really work well as thread partners. and that's okay!
