if you play it that way in the meta-narrative and never mention it by name you're fine. so long as you don't SAY "i think character is autistic" no one's going to notice you playing them along those lines. as long as you aren't playing smut you can play your character as trans without it ever mattering to anyone else. so long as you don't fall into the ~woe is me won't some other character sit and talk about these things!~ trap no one will notice

it's literally, in my experience, the "saying it out loud" part that gets people twisted up. love, a trans & neurodivergent person who has been playing characters I see as neurodivergent and/or some flavor of GNC/genderfluid/trans for over a decade without any issues. ♥
