I never have problems getting hits on CR memes when I state specifically what types of CR I am looking for (i.e. "my character has a little sister back at home that she really misses, so she would love some CR she could dote on as a substitute little sister" or "my character has a phobia of commitment so ships are out, but some FWBs would be great"). That way people who aren't familiar with your character don't have to try to think up how your characters would get along, they can just go "oh I'd really like a big sister figure for my character" and that gives you a springboard to start plotting CR right there.
