i don't mind assumed cr/handwaving/timeskips but i loooove playing out all the cute shippy stuff, ugh, so cute! i need a cute backstory to fully enjoy my ships.
the best shipping partner for me is one that loves talking about all the cute shit we played out and will play out, loves playing a bunch of dumb aus with me, and loves telling me "i saw this thing and it reminded me of our ship, PSL POTENTIAL!!!!!" even if nothing ever comes of it. my otp partner does all this and she's amazing, too bad she's been busy with rl lately but i'm glad that she's got a job now.
i wanna reminisce about their first date in our main psl, their first misunderstanding in our au psl, that one time one of our characters got a boner in front of the other one for the first time and got embarrassed about it, maybe joke about how our characters would react to current events/new video games/random tumblr posts we see, maybe talk smut/kinks, all that good shit.
fml though, rl is being a pain in the ass and i'm not motivated enough to finish icons for some of my characters or canon review right now. and i'm stubborn and don't like to use other people's icons.
