I'd say the cast is pretty good! A lot of the major secondary characters on the ship mostly fall into the 'serious person who gets pulled into his orbit' type, but they execute it pretty well and there's enough variety in their impressions of him that they dont' feel like retreads of the same character. And the less important characters who just go with the flow are really fun whenever they pop up. The antagonists are pretty solid, too, especially later on when even they start getting affected by how non-seriously he's taking this.
