Number 3 drives me crazy because I took a forensics class in high school that was taught by an actual forensics examiner and the stuff she showed us in class was so graphic our parents had to sign permission slips for us to be in the class at the beginning of the year.
A lot of car accidents where forensics people are called in are ones where someone wasn't wearing a seatbelt. She basically made it clear that most car accidents where people don't wear seatbelts are fatal and what's left of you is usually in pieces.
I wish people would understand that yes, you can still get injured wearing a seatbelt, but you have way better chances when you're not launched through your windshield at 70 mph.
As for getting stuck because of a seatbelt, you can buy one of those doodads that you can use to cut your seatbelt and break a window to escape for like ten bucks.
