I'm gonna guess that the people that you asked the invite from were telling the truth. Some of those invite games only allow players to invite if they've done certain things (had journals for so long, met IC criteria, met AC, etc)

You shouldn't be mad at the people who could not invite you because they didn't have invite powers and if you blocked them, then you're the asshole.
