I rp because I tend to have a lot of ideas I want to scratch at, but story writing and drabble communities don't do the job anymore. I used to be a part of orig-fic comms and I now play oc's, so I am in the minority, but it's far more satisfying to have threads to bounce back and forth than to write a drabble and comment on other's stories. I admit the shipping is fun, too, though if anything I write way less smut now than I did as a teen/20-something.
