i agree. but that's not really the argument here as it's pertaining to one particular individual who should have somehow known ahead of time that not only would her clients reoffend, but she'd be held accountable for that decades later when she ran for president. if all public defenders quit because of guilty clients or the potential they might run for president, we wouldn't have any lawyers.
