as someone who has definitely written more than one resentful style fic, I have to admit I personally don't feel very miffed at all. I'm thrilled to see them being so sweet to each other, and I appreciate the route the anime is taking so far.

I mean, I'll probably still write some dark and twisted fic, because it's fun! if anything, this makes it more interesting to make up fucked-up shit.

so yeah, while there are complainers, I'm hoping that there will be plenty of people who are chill and just happy we're getting new stuff.
