Even worse when they say things like "Well I WOULD write this fic about my favorite character but no one's going to care about it" like congratulations on defeating yourself before you even began. What do you want me to do, beg you to write? Idk man I write because I love it and the rarer the character/pairing the more I consider it a challenge to write something good enough to pull in an audience anyway. Of course I like feedback, who doesn't, but people who have zero self-motivation to even get them to that point are so exhausting.
