look, you came into a discussion and had an 'this is what i'd do' comment. whether you meant it one way or the other doesn't matter. no one reads the hidden intent. even clarifying it doesn't do much that go 'well, that's just like, my opinion, man'. you can have an opinion. i'm pretty sure everyone and their mom is aware of the fact that you can put view all and see all of the icons at once. most of us are aware how the site works.
you stated your opinion, which you're allowed to have, but your opinion doesn't get to negate theirs. if they don't have icon crediting on their page by now and have a post dedicated to crediting everyone they want to credit, your opinion isn't going to change it. and coming in like that just kind of feels like it's 'well, see, i'm voting for this side'. there's no side to vote for. you do what you do. they do what they do. it was an unnecessary comment. like, do you not like chips, rly?
