You need reading comprehension if you got from what OP said that their character isn't showing any interest in the other one. They said they ARE and that the other one shuts it down and pushes them away every time they try to get it to go anywhere. Don't jump into a discussion if you're too dim even to comprehend what's actually being discussed.
