As for the rest, now a mod that probably wanted to just run some cutesy niche cuddlegame thing that might have been fun for at least a handful of people got discouraged out of modding altogether because you were a ragey ranty dick angry it wasn't a kinkfest.
So let's do a spot check. Now we have no new kinky sex game still. No new cutesy cuddlesex game that some people might have liked. No new game in general. A potential mod that might have worked up to being able to mod if they'd hadn't been ranted at with five paragraph essays on why they needed to include noncon. And every potential mod that might have wanted to run a kinky sex game, like some of us want, that's watching the game ideas thread, knows they'd have to deal with the more hostile and toxic anons in this thread as players if they made it. Which probably doesn't increase our chances of getting one sooner.
