An elemental magic system where practitioners draw power from and manipulate a single element (but the "element" could be something more abstract like sound or blood, etc), but they require limiters as jewelry on their body to keep from losing control and being overwhelmed by their power.
A form of contract magic where practitioners make bargains with deities for powers that are more specific (like the ability to take another person's shape, or to absorb wounds with a touch). But in exchange they both have to pursue the terms of their bargain as well as follow some sort of behavioral restriction (Like not being allowed to eat where any living person can see, or being unable to speak anything that is a direct lie).
And of course I was thinking that at least for the country that encourages magical experimentation, allowing players to suggest magical systems and incorporating the ones that seem to fit the game into the world.
