The thing about anoncomms (and by "anoncomms" i mean "mostly wg") is that like you said they are dominated by a small group of jackasses trying to sell themselves as the majority. and i think ip logging has a little to do with the slowdown, but what it mostly is is people realizing how useless wg really is
rpa is 90% butts and farts and shrimp shitposting and that's okay, it doesn't hurt anyone. the problem with wg is that for every 1 tora or second they out they drive off 20 or 30 harmless people whose only crime was pissing off the wrong asshole. i'm glad that tora and second and antman etc are gone, but i think wg has long caused more harm than help. it won't be closed, but the best thing it could do for dwrp is to close
the only problem is that inevitably some asshole or another would make another wankgate because pandora's box can't be closed. that's the whole reason why we have wg now, denise jumped at the chance to nuke acj but when wg replaced it she knew it was a lost cause. otherwise i think she would have nuked wg years ago (and nothing of value would have been lost)
