yeah I was confused reading this thread because with an office job, cons are remarkably easy. 1-2 days off every few months, maybe a day or two worth of pay for funds, and you're set.

then again, people in that situation aren't the ones making a big deal about it or begging on plurk for funds to go, so... probably not the people OP was complaining about.
