I think a tranquil character would go over super well. Nobody really bothers to npc the tranquil and having a character who is tranquil would be really interesting. It would be very easy to get a wide array of CR, in whatever variety you'd like (positive, negative, neutral).

You should toss them up on the Test Drive, if you have a character in mind already.
