I'm asexual. I can't speak for everyone, but imho there's nothing to oppress. Personally, I don't broadcast it to the world because I don't have much to say about it, but those I have spoken to have never mocked me. They have questions, but it's only because they're curious. No one is attacking anyone for being asexual. It can be seen as weird, but no one actually sees it as wrong.
