as far as keeping up: what is your usual tagging pace? in my experience, pace in futuro is pretty flexible. most people will tag a thread about once a day or so, some more, some less. You'll usually be able to find someone to boomerang if you want to, but you won't fall too far behind if you can't tag for a few days. the plot is there and you should be keeping up on it to know what your character should be aware of on an IC level, but it's not too grueling. log participation is optional and you can control your thread load if you need to. generally there are about 2 major plot logs/happenings a month, and they will be announced and scheduled on the monthly calenders (http://axiology.dreamwidth.org/43511.html like this one!!) so you can be prepared for them/let people know if you'll be busy during them.

oocly ac reqs are pretty low (two of either a 5 comment log thread or a 10 comment network thread) and the community's generally pretty laid back and flexible about both tone and speed. the app queue isn't too competitive rn either, so honestly I'd say app in and give it a shot, anon! worst case scenario, it doesn't work out and you drop, best case scenario, it does, and you stay!
