going on a tangent here but im kinda holding out hope that the sorta-codependency in ruby and sapphire's relationship is addressed eventually.

like them wanting to be together all the time isn't actually a bad thing-- it'd just be good to show that, you know, they can still function on their own. they don't necessarily need to be together, they just want to. they do use ruby and sapphire to teach a lot of relationship-focused lessons, so im crossing my fingers.
