Please keep your bunny indoors, outdoor bunnies are exposed to predators, disease and stress. Get your bunny used to being picked up, always support their legs when you do.
Cuddle them lots and spend time with them, but buy them in a pair or they'll be sad. Avoid pet shops if you can because they don't know shit and breeders are more ethical with socialised bunnies (generally). Hutches are crap but give them a cardboard box or somewhere to hide as well as toys for their forever growing teeth.
They're a long term commitment, they live to be about 8 or more. Watch closely for signs of illness because they won't show them readily. You really get out what you put in with bunnies, the more time you spend with them the more they start to get playful and give affection.
Netherland dwarfs are tiny devils who hate indiscriminately. Lops are good starter bunnies.
