PURE SLICE OF LIFE AU GAME

Excuse me while I ramble off thoughts and ideas, here. This idea is still in the very early stages and everything is subject to change.

Setting is something like BH6's San Fransokyo, a huge city that's a fusion of American and Japanese cultures, since most canons fall under those settings. The rest of the world exists, though, and people are free to come and go as they feasibly can.

All characters are AUs born in this world, no jamjar world hopping. OCs are welcome (putting my foot down on this one) as long as they're well-developed and not obvious self-inserts.

Leaning toward making it a 100% normal kind of world. No powers, no ninjas, no TV world, no witches or vampires or werewolves. Everyone is human. This is subject to change.

No network. There will be some kind of popular Facebook-esque online platform everyone has the option of using, but you're gonna have to supply your own cellphone, and there is no "send message to all" button. Either keep track of your friends or join a public group of some kind.

There will probably be a couple high schools. Go go rivalry!

Players are welcome to run businesses if they want to, and if they want something in town but don't want to run it themselves, an NPC can do the honors and we'll say it just opened or has always been there. Within reason, of course, we're not going to have ridiculous mega-skyscrapers and theme parks everywhere.

And on that note, kids go to school and adults will probably need to have a job or be wealthy. No magical food dispensers here, and too much truancy will result in consequences.

Death is permanent, but you'll need a damn good reason to kill off a non-original character for good. Medical services are pretty damn advanced, but if someone gets horribly maimed and injured, they'll be healing up like a normal person.
