i'm a fan of the character and that was absolutely the goal. he's supposed to be a genuine hot mess who snarks sometimes and has temper tantrums other times and overall is an insecure nerd who can't handle the thought that he isn't the best thing on sith wheels

like some aspects of him are genuinely scary because he has pretty strong Force powers and he's unstable and wild and he thinks he's entitled to everything, but overall he's not a character that is supposed to impress you. like be mad all you want, but he was never meant to be cool in any shape or form, that wasn't the point of his role.
