This advice works really well for meme and PSL players, less so for game players where "your thread partner" might be "everyone who happened to tag your network post or top level for the last month". So...30+ people sometimes.

IMO it's kinda ridiculous that people backtag silly network threads for a month anyways. I sure don't expect anyone to PM me just to tell me they're dropping one. If a thread is super important to me I'll ping them. Doesn't mean either of us are disposable fun, but at some point in a big game you have to move on from old shit so you can tag into new things.
